Since 2010 Matrix Switch Corporation has been building a family of special systems specially for installation in military aircraft.
Based on the COTS concept, each of these units begins with sub-assemblies that are modified to withstand vibration and temperature stresses of aviation service before going into the final system. The system is also modified with the addition of a wide range isolated DC-DC converter plus EMI filter and MIL certified DC input connector. A final extra 24 hour burn in and performance certification completes the process.
